How do I display my Memory Blocks?
Handmade in Canada since 1994, Memory Blocks are the original collectible wall plaques. Interactive and timeless, the collection captures pieces of history as tangible, enchanting collectible art for modern life. More information about Memory Blocks can be found here.
Memory Blocks are handmade of poured plaster.
Memory Blocks are all 6” x 8”. Depths range from 1-1/4” to 3-1/4”. As each piece is hand made from start to finish, slight size variances may exist for individual tiles.
Each year, Sid selects tiles that he no longer feels fit into the larger collection. These tiles are retired in early December of each year instantly gaining collectability and value.
Unfortunately, once a piece is retired, it is no longer produced or sold through Sid Dickens Inc.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Amex is only accepted for CAD orders. Please be advised our payment gateway provider cannot process American Express in USD.
All Memory Blocks are hand made from start to finish in our studio in Vancouver, BC and have been since 1994. We ship directly from Vancouver.
As every Memory Block is handmade, each will have small differences. Their appearance will vary depending on the elements and how they’re produced. This is true for all Memory Blocks. In regards to iron/silver tiles, iron will oxidize over time and there may be imperfections on the silver. This is what makes a Memory Block unique and adds to their story!
Unfortunately, Sid Dickens Inc. does not offer repair services for damaged Memory Blocks. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Orders on this site can only be made within Canada and the United States and shipped within those territories. See an official retailer near you to purchase Memory Blocks internationally.
All orders are shipped via regular ground shipping, which takes roughly 2 to 14 days depending on the delivery address. If necessary, we can expedite your order to ship via 2 to 3 day air shipping for an additional cost. Please email info@siddickens.com for a quote request along with your order number. A customer service representative will be in touch with the exact cost of shipping for your approval.
As Memory Blocks are all handmade to order, there may be situations where we will be unable to accommodate a delivery in time for the date needed. If this is the case, you can try contacting your local retailer to see if they have the tile needed in stock.

Please be advised that Sid Dickens Memory Blocks, like any fine art, are best displayed in a climate controlled environment. Please ensure that your blocks are placed away from direct sunlight as exposure to either direct sunlight or moisture can cause the blocks to fade and/or discolour.
